The UN Security Council has once again supported Kyiv's assessment of the events in Ukraine, spokesman of Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis has said.

“There has already been an 18th sitting of the UN Security Council on Ukraine, [and it] once again confirmed isolation of the Russian position regarding the situation in Ukraine,” Perebyinis said at a briefing on June 25.

The UN Security Council also supported the peace plan of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, “which creates a positive background for the further implementation of the plan,” Perebyinis said.
