The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry is considering evacuating 14 more Ukrainian citizens from Syria to Ukraine, the ministry's spokesperson, Oleksandr Dykusarov, has said.

“The Ukrainian Embassy in Syria is continuing to draw up lists of
Ukrainian citizens planning to return home. Joint work is being
conducted with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
According to the latest information, 12 Ukrainian citizens were
evacuated from Damascus to Ukraine on Aug. 27. The Ukrainian Embassy
in Syria and the IOM are currently considering the issue of sending from
Syria 14 more Ukrainian citizens who have expressed their desire to
return home,” Dykusarov said at a briefing on Tuesday.

He said that the terms of their return would depend on the frequency of flights from Damascus.

As reported, on July 26 Ukraine started the evacuation of its citizens from Syria due to the unrest in the country.
