Moscow - The Russian government has added Sevastopol to the list of ports admitting foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving by ferryboats on tourist trips.
A resolution dated May 7, 2009, ‘On the Procedure for the Stay on the Russian Territory of Foreign Citizens and Stateless Persons Arriving in the Russian Federation on Tourist Trips by Ferryboats Licensed to Carry Passengers’ approved the regulations on the stay of the aforementioned persons on Russian territory and the list of ports admitting them to Russia, says a report posted on the government website.
The regulations allowed the foreign citizens and stateless persons to stay 72-hour in Russia without visa if they are accommodated on board a ferryboat or at another place designated by the group tour program.
