Former Ukrainian member of parliament Ihor Kaletnyk and Volodymyr Oliynyk are suspected of organizing the illegal voting in parliament on January 16 and have been put on the wanted list, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has reported.

“In connection with the fact that the suspects are staying outside of Ukraine, the investigator put them on the wanted list, and the Pechersky Court in Kyiv having considered the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has issued their arrest warrant,” the statement reads.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the office for investigating high profile cases of the Main Investigation Department has compiled a report saying that Kaletnyk and Oliynyk are suspected of preparing in advance on Jan. 16, 2014 the minutes of a meeting of the accounting commission and stating in them the results of the vote-to-be for a number of laws that substantially restrict the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens, which subsequently were called “dictatorial.”

On Dec. 1, these charges were brought against them, which became possible only after the Verkhovna Rada of the 7th convocation had been disbanded.
