Paris – All members of the French government have decided not to go to Ukraine for the games of the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, French Sports Minister Valerie Fourneyron announced on Thursday evening.

"None of the members of the government is going to attend matches in Ukraine," she told French reporters before the start of a friendly football match between France and Serbia.

"The Foreign Ministry of France yesterday notified the Ukrainian government about the situation," she added.

The Paris media reported earlier that French President Francois Hollande, apparently, was unlikely to go to Ukraine to watch the Euro 2012 matches.
