Brussels, May 12 – The thaw in relations between Kyiv and Moscow poses no threat to Ukraine's integration into Europe, the European Union's Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Stefan Fule said at a press conference in Brussels on Wednesday.
Fule also stressed the need to conduct reforms in the country that are compatible with "the agenda of association with the European Union."
The commissioner noted that it was the European Union that had "urged the Ukrainian authorities to have good relations with their neighbors."
"I think that the answer is how the Ukrainian leadership is faithful to reform, to a package of reforms that is compatible with [Ukraine's] European agenda," he said.
