European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule has said it is important an extraordinary session of the Ukrainian parliament on Tuesday "paves the way forward" for a political process that leads to a way out of the crisis.
Fule’s spokesman, Peter Stano, quoted the commissioner, who is currently in Kyiv, as saying this.
“It is crucial that today’s extraordinary session of the Verkhovna
Rada starts to pave the way forward for an inclusive political process
that leads to a way out of the crisis. In this, people’s aspirations
must be at the heart of all the efforts,” Stano quoted Fule as saying.
He added that according to the commissioner, “we are in an ongoing process.” “My talks with Ukrainian partners are ongoing,” Stano cited Fule as saying.
