You're reading: Gaz Ukraina plans to expand filling station chain to 250 by 2014

 The Gas Ukraina group of companies plans by 2014 to expand the chain of filling stations under its control from 150 to 250, reads a press release of the group.

“The group will go to the most attractive regions from the point of view of the economy, first of all, to the capital and industrial centers with high levels of fuel consumption and developed infrastructure,” the Gas Ukraina said.

By 2020 the group wants to form a chain of 500 filling stations and become one of the leaders of the retail market.

At present, the Gas Ukraina group controls around 150 filling stations operating under various brands in all the regions of Ukraine. In particular, partners of the group on the retail market are Expogas, Autotrans, Fob, Kargaz, Best Oil, Afgan and some other chains.

As reported, the Gas Ukraina group sells liquefied and natural gas, fuel and goods for the oil and gas sector. Gas Ukraina 2009 LLC (Simferopol) is the corporate management company.

The key shareholder in the Gas Ukraina group is Serhiy Kurchenko, who recently bought FC Metalist Kharkiv.
