You're reading: Gaz Ukraina to rebrand

The Gaz Ukraina group of companies as part of restructuring business is intending to rebrand, the press service of the company said on Friday.

During the reform, Gaz Ukraina plans to give up non-core business.

In addition, the group is in talks with several international oil holdings and traders on the establishment of a strategic alliance to work in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Central Europe.

“The group’s business has passed the stage of formation and now its scope requires new approaches to forming the structure of ownership and management, opening up opportunities for international partnership. Today foreign markets, including those of Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, account for a significant share of our turnover. We will continue to develop the group’s investment programs – in particular we are considering the possibility of entering the field of oil refining,” the press service said, citing Gaz Ukraina founder Serhiy Kurchenko.

As reported, Gaz Ukraina is negotiating on the purchase of an oil refinery in Ukraine and stakes in oil extracting and refining assets in other countries.

Gaz Ukraina specializes in the sale of liquefied and natural gas, fuel and products for the oil and gas industry. It controls about 150 fuel filling stations across the country.
