Moscow - There is a high risk of gas supplies to Europe via Ukraine being disrupted, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said.

“The risk of disruption is extremely high,” he said in an interview with the Russia 24 TV channel.

“We received a request to supply gas to Ukraine today, the supplies started at 10 a.m.,” Miller said.

Naftogaz Ukrainy on Dec. 5 transferred pre-payment of $378.2 million to Gazprom for the delivery of 1 bcm of gas in December.
