The Georgian administration has condemned the violence in Ukraine, calling on the Ukrainian administration to resolve all issues through dialog, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani told a briefing on Monday.

“We condemn any violence that leads to casualties in Ukraine and we
extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims,” he said.

“We are calling on the Ukrainian administration to resolve all issues
that arose in this period through dialog. We want Ukraine, which, like
Georgia, is a member of the Eastern Partnership program, to return to
European values,” Zalkaliani said.

The parliament of Georgia issued a similar statement last week,
calling for a peaceful solution to the political crisis in Ukraine and
saying that “the main role in the settlement of this political crisis is
played by the Ukrainian administration.”

“The Georgian parliament declares full solidarity with the people of
Ukraine, who want to become a full-fledged member of the European family
based on freedom, supremacy of law, and the observance of human
rights,” the Georgian parliament said in its statement.
