You're reading: Georgia ready to cooperate with new Ukrainian goverment

The Georgian Foreign Ministry has welcomed the appointment of a new Ukrainian government and called for the Cabinet to assume responsibility for normalization of "the complicated processes" occurring in the country.

 

 “The Georgian Foreign Ministry hopes that the new government will
take decisive steps to live up to the hopes of the Ukrainian people, to
overcome the crisis, to protect Ukraine’s territorial integrity, its
sovereignty, the rule of law, democratic presidential elections, and to
ensure political and economic stability and progress which, in turn,
will play a decisive role in securing a worthy place within the large
European family,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement
issued on Thursday.

On behalf of our government we express “our willingness to cooperate with the new Ukrainian government,” the ministry said.
