A German delegation will arrive in Kyiv on Tuesday to coordinate projects for restoration in eastern Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk said.

“Today the German delegation is arriving in Kyiv to coordinate projects for the restoration of east Ukraine under [] 300 million credit guarantees from the German government,” Melnyk wrote on his Twitter page.

It was reported that in July 2015 Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada ratified a memorandum with Germany over the allocation of a 500 million loan for Donbas restoration. According to the document, 300 million from this sum will be allotted to the energy sphere, infrastructure and utilities and 200 million as macro-financial aid.
