The anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces have consolidated their positions in the northern part of Luhansk, from which they will continue to liberate the city, the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has reported.
“A greater part of Luhansk is still controlled by militants. Ukrainian military have consolidated their positions in the northern part of the city, d there they will continue the offensive on the city and its liberation,” NSDC information and analytical center spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Aug. 25.
