You're reading: Government proposes approving issue of state guarantees for Hr 18 billion in 2015

The Ukrainian government has proposed approving the issue of state guarantees in the amount of Hr 18 billion in 2015.

The proposal is contained in the draft national budget for next year, the text of which is available at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the document, state guarantees will be provided by the decision of the government to ensure partial fulfillment of debt obligations by Ukrainian economic entities on loans raised to finance investment projects.

In addition, state guarantees will be provided on the basis of international agreements for the financing of investment, innovation, infrastructure and other development projects of strategic importance, as well as projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and strengthening the competitive advantages of Ukrainian enterprises.
