Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostyantyn Gryshchenko has said that the process of European integration is not suspended in Ukraine and the country is continuing to follow this track.
"The process of European integration cannot be suspended, at least from the viewpoint of Ukraine's interests," the minister said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
He added that the process of European integration, first of all, includes the implementation of reforms in line with European standards.
"In addition, we are supporting sectoral dialogues at all levels. We continue our cooperation in the sphere of the implementation of the action plan for the liberalization of visa travel," Gryshchenko said.
The minister added that Europe is focused in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Ukraine due in October this year.
Gryshchenko also said that one should not forget about the processes inside the EU.
"The processes inside the EU demand a lot of effort and energy from those who make decisions there," he said.
