“Today, we celebrate the 416th anniversary of the birth of the great Ukrainian political, church and educational figure Petro Mohyla. We have a good opportunity to recall that Ukraine was not only the first country in Eastern Europe to open its own university, but in 17-19th centuries it was the source of spreading European humanist ideas in the whole region,” the press service quoted the deputy prime minister.
