Investigators of the Military Prosecutor's Office and employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in Odesa Oblast have detained the Head of Odesa department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in the moment he was taking a bribe of $20,000, Anatoliy Matios, the Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine.

“Chief of Odesa city police arrested in action for illegal facilitation in solving a corporate conflict and establishing control over property,'” Matios wrote on Facebook on Aug.27.

“Urgent investigative actions are being conducted,” he added.
