You're reading: Heads of Sevastopol, Cherkasy administrations resign

Ukraine's Acting President and Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov has dismissed the head of Sevastopol city state administration, Volodymyr Yatsuba.

A decree to that effect dated March 7 has been posted on the acting president’s Web site. Turchynov also dismissed the head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration, Serhiy Tulub.

It was reported that on February 24 Yatsuba tendered his resignation and withdrew his Party of Regions membership. Tulub wrote a letter of resignation on February 25.
