The Health Ministry of Ukraine plans to assign new legal addresses to medical institutions in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, which will allow employees of the medical institutions to move and get jobs on the Kyiv-controlled territories, the press service of the ministry has reported, referring to acting Health Minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets.
He said that the assigning of the new legal address does not mean the removal of equipment and the physical transfer of the institutions, as this could put lives of doctors under a threat.
“This is unrealistic to evacuate a hospital, as separatists will not allow removing any institution and first of all expensive equipment. There is another way. We change the legal address of the institutions and those employees who worked there have the right to move and start working on the Ukrainian territories. The example of this could be Husak Emergency and Reconstructive Surgery Institute. Today it has been registered in the Shalimov institute,” he said.
