A total of 83,904 people have been hospitalized since the start of the epidemic, and 54,407 of them have been discharged from the hospital by Wednesday evening.

The WHO has said no significant changes has occurred to the H1N1 virus, but only minor changes are required to make the virus more virulent. The WHO has not released the genetic sequence with its statement of no SIGNIFICANT changes which begs the question "why not", what are they trying to hide. Experts can then point to minor changes that allow the virus to more readily bind to receptors and replicate more easily in lung tissue. Everyone should demand that the WHO release the genetic sequence so independant experts can exaime the virus threat more closely.
