Donetsk was not quiet on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 23, people in the Voroshylovsky, Kalininsky, Kuibyshevsky and Kyivsky districts reported heavy gunfire.
The Donetsk City Council said that public utilities and repair teams continued to work despite the tensions.
DTEK Donetskoblenergo and DTEK PES-Enerhovuhillia specialists are repairing power lines damaged in the hostilities. Power supplies have been restored to 1,500 residents of the Smolaynka neighborhood in the Kuibyshevsky district.
Donetskmiskgaz repair teams are restoring gas supplies to the Kuibyshevsky, Petrovsky and Kyivsky districts and on the streets adjacent to the Monolit stadium and the Putylovsky market.
