Ukrainian parliamentarian and a former advisor to the interior minister, Anton Heraschenko, has said that a firearm had been used during disturbances outside the parliamentary building; as a result, a National Guard soldier has died in hospital after being injured in the heart.

“One of the National Guard soldiers has died. It has just emerged that a National Guard conscript soldier has died from a bullet injury at hospital N17. As well as grenades, provocateurs were also using firearms, shooting on the sly,” the parliamentarian wrote on Facebook.

“Debrin, Ihor Anatoliyovych was only 25 years old, he was a native of the Kherson region. He was a conscript from the spring campaign. My condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the hero who was honestly fulfilling his duty,” the parliamentarian wrote.
