Donetsk - Members of the so-called Donbas Militia who have seized the Horlivka city council building in Donetsk region are not obstructing the council's work, and all its employees are at their workplaces, the city council's press service reported on Wednesday, April 30.

Members of Donbas Militia are in the building now, and Horlivka Mayor Yevhen Klep discussed the stable functioning of the city council and other city organizations and institutions with them, it said.

“Everyone should and will perform their functional duties at their workplaces. The goal is not to allow disruptions in the organization of the city’s daily activities in any sector,” the press service cited Klep as saying.

It was reported earlier that a group of armed men occupied the Horlivka city council and the central city police department buildings on Wednesday morning, April 30.
