The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is currently following the progress of restructuring Ukraine's eurobonds, while defining the status of the country's debt to Russia worth $3 billion is the question of the future, Director of the IMF European Department Poul Thomsen has said.

“This is the issue, this is the question that pertains to the future. Ukraine is currently on its payments to Russia, there is an ongoing discussion between Ukraine and Russia, and I want it to take its course, and I don’t want to comment on this,” he replied, when asked by a journalist at the annual meeting of the IMF and the World Bank in Lima.
