The International Monetary Fund will allocate the third tranche under its latest stand-by program for Ukraine after Kyiv carries out pension reform and settles problems with reduced tariffs for gas for public, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Max Alier has said.

"In July and December last year we provided two tranches. At present we are conducting talks on the third tranche, but first we must see certain measures being taken by the [Ukrainian] government. First of all, pension reform must be implemented," he said at the opening of the Adam Smith Conferences seventh annual Ukrainian Investment Summit in London on Monday.
