You're reading: Interior Ministry denies presence of Right Sector representatives in eastern Ukraine

The Interior Ministry of Ukraine has denied information on the alleged outrage by representatives of the Right Sector in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

“Rumors on certain outrage by Right Sector representatives on the territory where the antiterrorist operation is conducted are untrue,” Stanislav Rechynsky, an advisor to the interior minister of Ukraine, said at a briefing in Kyiv on April 18.

He said that there are no Right Sector representatives there.

“Servicemen from the National Guard are staying there and no outrage is seen.”

Information on the arrival of representatives of Right Sector or their plans to come to the eastern regions of Ukraine appeared there.
