Investigators have found that at least seven shells were launched from Ukraine on the Rostov oblast last Sunday.
“According to the latest figures, at least seven shells were launched against our territory. Only one of them failed to explode,” Russian Investigative Committee (RIC) spokesman Vladimir Markin told journalists on Monday.
The RIC said earlier on July 14 that it is was planning to request satellite data to establish which Ukrainian army unit was at the launch site of the shells which fell on the city of Donetsk, Rostov oblast, on July 13.
On July 13 the Ukrainian army fired explosive shells into the city of Donetsk in Russia’s Rostov oblast. The shell hit a residential building, killing one Russian and leaving two with serious injuries.
