You're reading: Japan to send observers to oversee presidential elections in Ukraine

 Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has said that Japan would send ten observers to help oversee presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for May 25.

 The premier stated this at a press conference in Brussels which followed after EU-Japan Summit on Wednesday.

Abe said he hopes Ukraine will manage to carry democratic elections.

Moreover, Japan will continue to support Ukraine in economy, democracy and facilitation of the domestic dialogue in Ukraine.
