Ukraine still expects that the agreement with foreign creditors on restructuring of commercial debt will be achieved in several weeks.

“June is very critical month,” Finance Minister of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko said at a roundtable of the U.S.-Ukraine business council in Kyiv on May 7.

The minister reminded that the achievement of the agreement is important for obtaining the second disbursement under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Jaresko said that now Ukraine has enough resources to service current liabilities, although the restructuring is the issue of providing long-term debt stability of the country which creditors are interest in.
