Ukraine's Ministry of Justice in Kyiv is introducing a pilot project for the simplified provision of administrative services - a new department of the registration service.

Justice Minister Pavlo Petrenko said at a briefing in Kyiv that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the ministry’s initiative to introduce a pilot project for rendering administrative services “under a new philosophy,” which will allow to significantly reduce the time of citizens for preparing certain documents.

The minister explained that the work of the registration service office is to be distributed under the principle of front-office and back-office.

“The front-office is the part of employees, who deals exclusively with citizens. But they will not have any impact on the outcome of the case,” he said.

Petrenko believes that such a distribution of work at the registration center will allow to avoid any corruption.
