WASHINGTON - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Ukraine on Feb. 5, State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said at a press conference on Jan. 30.

Secretary of State John Kerry will travel to Ukraine on Feb. 5 and will meet with Ukrainian President Peter Poroshenko, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk, Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin, as well as with members of Ukrainian parliament, she said.

According to the State Department spokesperson, Kerry’s visit will demonstrate the U.S. support of Ukraine and its people.

There are no plans for Kerry’s visit to Moscow so far, Psaki said.
