Ukraine's Wladimir Klitschko beat Britain's David Haye on July 2 in a heavyweight title fight.

In a unanimous decision after 12 rounds of boxing in Hamburg, Germany, Klitschko retained his IBF and WBO championshp belts. He also picked up a WBA belt from Haye, whose record now stands at 25-2 with 23 knockouts. Undefeated in seven years, Klitschko’s record improved to 56-3, with 49 knockouts.

The victory further established Wladimir and his brother Vitali, also a heavyweight belt holder, as the dominant boxers in the division. The boxing duo now jontly holds all heavyweight belts.

The fast and shifty Haye spent much of the bout on the defensive trying to avoid powerful jabs and punches from the 6-foot-6 Klitschko, who had a 3-inch height advantage.
