You're reading: Kliuyev to discuss free trade area with EU in Brussels

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Kliuyev is to visit Brussels on October 19-20 to discuss issues related to establishment of a free trade zone with the EU.

During the visit, Kliuyev will meet with European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht and European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule, the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman, Oleksandr Dykusarov, said at a briefing on Tuesday.

"The main purpose of the visit is to discuss outstanding issues related to the formation of a free trade area between the EU and Ukraine in the context of the talks on the Association Agreement," Dykusarov said.
