LVIV – Ukraine has virtually completed the renovation of its roads for the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, Vice Prime Minister and Infrastructure Minister Borys Kolesnikov has said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"I can say that we have accomplished almost everything. We are currently finishing the Kyiv-Zhytomyr motorway. Naturally, one would like all the roads across the country to be as good as the Kyiv-Boryspil highway, but this is not possible for many reasons," he said.

According to Kolesnikov, all the roads going west and the Kyiv-Kharkiv motorway have been upgraded for Euro 2012.

"However, there is still much to be done," the minister said.
