This is evidence of the intensive dialogue between the two countries. In particular, the parties will discuss joint initiatives on bringing an international peacekeeping mission to Ukraine, the prolongation of sanctions against Russia, using Polish experience in power decentralization, military and security issues, as well as the Eastern Partnership Summit in Riga,” the president’s press service said.

In turn, Komorowski thanked Poroshenko for his invitation to visit Ukraine and the opportunity to deliver a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.

He reaffirmed the friendly attitude of the Polish nation to Ukraine and its willingness to support Ukraine in difficult times.

Komorowski added that the friendship between the two states is based on common historical experience and common interests, especially in security.
