Kyiv has not received official loan offers from the European Union, Ukraine's acting Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara has said.

“We have not received any official offers from the European Union,” he said at a press briefing on Monday.

This issue will be discussed during the EU foreign policy chief and European Commission Vice President Catherine Ashton’s visit to Kyiv, he said.

Kozhara added that all through the years of talks with the European Union on an association accord, the European Union had failed to formulate exactly what aid it could provide to Ukraine.

“Since the talks on the association accord started with the European Union, the EU has not come to clearly defining the aid it could offer Ukraine during the implementation of the agreement,” Kozhara said.
