 Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov has refrained from commenting on reports from southeastern Ukraine that the Donetsk People's Republic leadership refused to postpone an autonomy "referendum" slated for May 11.

 Russian President Vladimir Putin called for postponing the referendum on May 7.

“We need more information, these are new input data,” Peskov told journalists in Moscow on May 8.
