Kyiv, Brussels to sign amendments to visa facilitation agreement

It is expected that the the current visa facilitation agreement with Ukraine will be signed.


The Interfax-Ukraine News Agency – a company belonging to the Interfax Information Services international group – has been an information provider in the political and economic information market of Ukraine since 1992.

Ukraine and the European Union will sign on Monday an additional section of the current visa facilitation agreement with Ukraine.

It is expected that the document will be signed in Brussels by European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko.

This will extend the list of categories of people falling under the simplified procedure for obtaining visas to EU member states.
