You're reading: Kyiv claims dozens of strikes against Ukrainian positions in Donbas last night

Militants opened fire on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas 22 times from 6 p.m. on Nov. 25 to 6 a.m. on Nov. 26, the press center of the Ukrainian army operation has reported.

The militants opened fire in the direction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in the Donetsk region and near the city of Artemivsk as a provocation.

Grenade launchers, large-caliber submachine guns and small arms were also fired in the direction of Verkhniotoretske, Avdiyivka, Pisky and Opytne, the press center said on its Facebook account.

Furthermore, anti-tank and automatic grenade launchers, as well as small arms were used to conduct strikes targeting Ukrainian positions near Avdiyivka, the press center said.

Militants also shelled Luhanske and Mayorsk, located near the town of Artemivsk, it reported.
