You're reading: Kyiv court extends custodial term of Russians Yerofeyev and Alexandrov by another two months

The Holosiyivsky District Court of Kyiv has extended the custodial term of Russian citizens Yevgeny Yerofeyev and Alexander Alexandrov by another 60 days until Nov. 21.

Such a decision was announced by Judge Mykola Didyk, who chaired the court’s preparatory session on Tuesday, an Interfax correspondent has reported.

Alexandrov and Yerofeyev were detained by the Ukrainian intelligence service on May 16, 2015, in the military operation zone in the area of the town of Schastia in the Luhansk region. One of them was wounded in the hand, the other one in the leg.

Ukraine said Yerofeyev and Alexandrov were Russian soldiers.

A court in Kyiv ruled on the arrest of the two Russians.
