The fighting continues in Stanytsia Luhanska, according to Luhansk region state administration head Hennadiy Moskal.

“Tensions persist in Stanytsia Luhanska. The local fish farm has been constantly under fire and a transformer sub-station and several power line pillars have been damaged. A number of Grad rocket launcher shots were fired after midnight. We are verifying information about possible casualties,” Moskal said in a report posted on his website on Wednesday, Nov. 26.

The Ukrainian army and their opponents engaged in close combat near the Dubrava holiday resort on the outskirts of Stanytsia Luhanska, he said.

Hot water and heating supplies have yet to resume in Schastia, Moskal continued.

“A collector damaged on Monday, Nov. 24 was repaired during a lull and technical preparations for heating started. The activation of the central heating system of the city was due this afternoon, but heating mains ruptured again under the impact of overnight gunfire,” Moskal said.

There have been overnight attacks on other populated localities of the Luhansk region controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, among them Krymske, Artema, Triokhizbenka, Chornukhyne and Verkhnia Vilkhova. The damage is insignificant and there are no civilian casualties, he noted.
