A signal that Russia withdrew all its troops from the territory of Ukraine will be the closing of the state border and the release of all hostages, Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko has said.

“An indicator of the withdrawal of Russian troops from our country is a secure sealing of the border to prevent renewed flow of troops and equipment, as well as the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. Nadia Savchenko and Oleh Sentsov should return to Ukraine!” the president said in a statement posted on his official page in the VKontakte social network on Friday night, Sep. 12.
