Ukraine so far is not planning to buy electricity in Russia this month, Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Minister Volodymyr Demchyshyn told reporters after a government meeting on Oct. 7.

“We are so far not planning anything for October, maybe this is not such a bad idea, because the price of electricity in Russia is very cheap, cheaper than what we can buy from the heat generation at the moment,” he said.
