The Ukrainian military claim that Donbas militants opened fire 16 times overnight, with the situation around Donetsk being the most difficult.
“Last night the village of Pisky was the most hit” having been fired at with the enemy’s grenades and mortars three times; other populated areas under attack included Opytne, Krasnohorivka, and Vodiane, the press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine said on Facebook.
The enemy also continues using artillery, “with the city of Avdiyivka being attacked twice with artillery between 4.15 a.m. and 4.35 a.m., and Opytne struck by hostile weapons at 3 a.m.,” the press center said.
Around Artemivsk, the village of Troitske came twice under rocket and 120 millimeter mortar fire, the press center said.
