The Debaltseve sector has turned into an epicenter of Donbas hostilities, the Ukrainian General Staff said on Thursday.
The situation is most dynamic in the Debaltseve sector where units opposed to the Ukrainian forces are shelling roadblocks, it said. There have been at least five rocket launcher attacks on the outskirts of the Donetsk airport, and the Ukrainian forces have come under artillery fire twice near Mariupol, the report noted.
In all, the Ukrainian positions have been shelled by artillery and Grad rocket launchers more than 30 times since morning.
