Germany has agreed to take in another group of 20 wounded participants in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) for treatment, Spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Yevhen Perebyinis said.

“Germany has given a preliminary agreement. Now, we’re negotiating to increase the number of soldiers to undergo treatment in Germany,” he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Jan. 27.

The foreign ministry spokesman said that Germany had already taken 44 Ukrainians for treatment: 24 people, who had been injured during mass protests, on March 12, 2014, and 20 soldiers, who had been wounded during the ATO, on Sept. 2, 2014.
