You're reading: Kyiv says no list of humanitarian aid items from Moscow yet

Ukraine has not yet received the list of items in the humanitarian aid from Moscow that Russia was going to send to Donbas, deputy head of Ukraine's presidential administration Valeriy Chaly has said.

“Regretfully, as of 4:40 pm, neither we nor the Red Cross has received the promised notes from Russia with the list of these products or their specifications. We do not know exactly what is there,” he told reporters in Kyiv on Tuesday.

Chaly pointed out that according to media reports the column with humanitarian aid includes a large number of trucks and this matter causes certain concern, therefore Ukraine would like to understand to what items it would have to give customs clearance, and what resources were needed for this.

He also said that the shipment of humanitarian aid would be conducted only through border crossing check-points controlled by Ukraine.

“I want to emphasize that the decision on how it will be delivered, on how it will be documented, on how it will be loaded at the border, on how all the logistics will happen, this responsibility lies with the International Committee of the Red Cross. We do not interfere, they know their job,” he said.
