Another 54 soldiers of volunteer battalions have broken the siege near Ilovaisk, Donetsk region, Anton Heraschenko, advisor to the Ukrainian interior minister, wrote on Facebook. 

“Good news from Semen Semenchenko! Another 39 fighters of the Donbas battalion have broken the siege near Ilovaisk! There are four women amongst them. The siege has also been broken by eleven soldiers of the Svitiaz battalion and four soldiers of the Dnepr-1 battalion,” Heraschenko wrote.

In turn, Donbas battalion commander Semen Semenchenko wrote on Facebook, “We have just picked up a reconnaissance platoon that broke the siege together with its commander. Another unit of 39 persons has broken the siege on its own. It includes four female fighters of the Donbas [battalion].”
