Kyiv's authorities plan to present Kyiv City and Dniprovski Perlyny investment projects at the MIPIM, an international real estate show for professionals, in Cannes (France) on March 12-15, 2013, the press service of Kyiv City Administration has reported, referring to Deputy Head of Kyiv City Administration Ruslan Kramarenko.

“The construction of the Kyiv City project in the Osokorky Pivnichni residential district will cut the burden [on transport infrastructure], although we understand well that the issue of the burden on transport requires further analysis by specialists in the area,” Kramarenko said.

According to the report, it is planned to raise UAH 1.25 billion in foreign investment to realize the Kyiv City project in the Osokorky Pivnichni residential district (Darnytsky district of Kyiv).

Along with the freeing up of the main streets of Kyiv from traffic, the city also plans to earn funds from the sale of land plots and obtain money to develop the infrastructure worth 10% of the cost of the said investment project, reads the report.

In addition, Kyiv authorities intend to present the Dniprovski Perlyny project at the exhibition.

“One of the initial stages of realization of the strategic initiative of the Dniprovski Perlyny project is the creation of the Alley of Conciliation in Kyiv as a chain of sites which present the cultural possessions of 25 regions of the country,” reads the report.

The Kyiv City Administration said that sites with displays of the regions of Ukraine as a part of the realization of the investment projects will be located along the medium terrace of the Dnipro River right bank slopes in Kyiv.

The MIPIM the international real estate show has 19,000 square meters of exhibition space and annually gathers around 20,000 office, housing and commercial real estate market players, as well as retail, logistics and industry players from 80 countries.
